Dissemination Activities
Dissemination activities are an important part of the ACT NOW program. They extend the reach of the project and support the use of its outcomes beyond the immediate group of participants. Through these activities, the knowledge, methods, and practices developed during the program are shared with a wider audience, contributing to stronger and more inclusive youth work.
Objectives of Dissemination Activities
Awareness: Inform youth organizations, schools, local communities, and other stakeholders about the ACT NOW Youth Exchange and its focus on environmental awareness, sustainability, and international cooperation.
Knowledge Sharing: Share sustainable practices, ideas, and learning outcomes developed during the exchange, including insights about the environmental history of the world and practical actions that individuals and communities can take to promote sustainability.
Engagement: Encourage dialogue within the wider community by sharing the discussions and perspectives exchanged between participants from different countries. This helps inspire others to reflect on environmental challenges and collaborate on possible solutions.
Sustainability: Support the long-term use of project outcomes by integrating them into existing structures and promoting their adoption by other organizations.
Dissemination ensures that the impact of the ACT NOW Youth Exchange continues beyond the project itself. By sharing the sustainable practices, discussions, and knowledge gained during the exchange, participants help inspire others to become more aware of environmental issues and to take action within their own communities.

ACPELIA
During the ACT Now project dissemination event in Portugal, the Cyprus team presented the main activities carried out during the project. They shared their experience creating clay from recycled materials and experimenting with natural colours made from spices and flowers. They also presented their cyanotypes and discussed the games and activities that helped the group work together. Finally, the participants took part in a creative activity inspired by Keith Haring, focused on inclusivity, creating their own hanging artworks using different materials.

Qualis Academy
The Anthotypes Workshop, held on 9 September 2026, introduced participants to an alternative photographic technique using natural pigments from plants and spices. Led by photographer and artist Roberto Gargiulo, participants explored turmeric, extracting its natural pigment and creating a light-sensitive emulsion using recycled materials.
They then applied the emulsion to paper and exposed it to sunlight to create their own photographic images. The workshop encouraged creativity, patience, experimentation, sustainability, and environmental awareness, while showing photography from a hands-on and analogue perspective.

Associatia Hessa
The ACT NOW project dissemination took place on 14 August 2026 at ZBOR HUB Iași, Romania, with 25 young people aged 16–23. Three participants who had been in Portugal presented the project through photos and a discussion about art, sustainability, recycling, and inclusion.
They shared their experiences with activities such as natural painting, photography, and creating sardines from cardboard, and introduced the participants to Keith Haring and his art. The practical activity involved creating marionettes inspired by Haring's work, using reused materials and focusing on inclusion.
The activity encouraged young people to work together, be creative, learn about sustainability, reuse materials, and discover opportunities offered by Erasmus+ and NGOs.
